Located rurally about 5 kilometres from Balclutha, Stirling is a co-educational full primary, with students from new entrant to year 8.
Stirling School is part of the Ka Ora, Ka Ako school lunches programme, school donations scheme, Kickstart Breakfast Club and other initiatives.
Our Staff
Stirling School currently has three classrooms. Miss Cochrane and Mrs Hill are our junior kāika (junior syndicate) teachers, while Ms DJ is the teacher of our senior kāika. Mr Fraser is a teaching principal, working across the school. Our teaching team is supported by three teacher aides working alongside students, and our wonderful cleaner.
Our staff always put our tamariki first in all they do. Their focus is on caring for and supporting our students to achieve their best. They are knowledgeable, friendly, hardworking, caring and dedicated.
