About Us

At Stirling School we:

We are a family orientated school with a strong focus on supporting and encouraging our tamariki to achieve their best.

Our vision is 'self belief and courage builds success' and our students are encouraged to respect themselves, their community and their environment.

Located rurally about 5 kilometres from Balclutha, Stirling is a co-educational full primary, with students from new entrant to year 8.

Stirling School is part of the Ka Ora, Ka Ako school lunches programme, school donations scheme, Kickstart Breakfast Club and other initiatives.

Our Staff

Stirling School currently has three classrooms. Miss Cochrane and Mrs Hill are our junior kāika (junior syndicate) teachers. Mrs Roxburgh is our senior kāika teacher. Mr Fraser is our teaching principal. Our teaching team is supported by two teacher aides working alongside students, and our wonderful cleaner.

Our staff always put our tamariki first in all they do. Their focus is on caring for and supporting our students to achieve their best. They are knowledgeable, friendly, hardworking, caring and dedicated.
